Genuine Dyson DC44 Main body assembly Type B
What is the difference between Type A and Type B batteries and body?
Type A: If you can push the button on the back of your handheld and the battery releases then you have Type A
Type B: If you have to remove two Phillips screws and push the button to remove your battery then you have Type B
When would this part need replacing?
- When the handheld has no power and the battery seems ok or has been replaced
- When the handheld is making a strange noise and the filter is clean and all blockages removed.
- When it is damaged.
NOTE: If you have no power to your machine it is recommended to replace the body AND battery! The reason for this is if you develop a fault with the body and buy a new battery, the fault with the body will blow the new battery also. Always replace the body first if you have no power to your handheld.
